Dr. Lim has over 30 years of medical experience, and specializes in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her current practice is at Mount Alvernia Medical Centre.

Dr. Lim received her basic medical training in the UK and graduated from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland in 1983. She continued her postgraduate specialist training in various teaching hospitals there and was admitted as a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London in 1988 and subsequently as a Fellow in 2001. After 8 years of working experience in the UK, she settled in Singapore in 1991 to join the Kandang Kerbau Women's and Children's Hospital where she worked and gained local experience for another 8 years. Her final post there was as a Consultant in the Maternal - Fetal Medicine Department before leaving to set up her own private clinic at Mount Alvernia Medical Centre in 1998 where she has been currently in practice for the last 16 years.

Dr. Lim has been trained in all fields of general obstetrics and gynaecology, with particular interest in fetal maternal medicine entailing the care of pregnant women and the safe delivery of their babies, gynaecological including laparoscopic surgery, adolescent gynaecology, menopausal, antiageing and nutritional medicine, and well woman wellness. Dr Lim's approach has always been holistic, addressing both the physical as well as the mental psyche of the individual woman in her treatment of any disease state as well as educating and reinforcement of preventive measures to encourage, achieve and maintain optimal health in body and mind for all her patients, young and old. As the saying goes, health is wealth. Her ultimate objective is to empower and engage all her female patients with confidence, physical good health and vigour so that they can embrace the multitasking role that the modern woman now plays in society with dignity and vitality.
